SEVENTIES Visor - "Folding Mechanism BASIC"
Folding mechanism "Basic" for bubble visors, made by SEVENTIES helmets. Easy open and close universal-mechanism for all 70's-Bubble-Visors, but also for other visor brands like BILTWELL Bonanza and BELL Custom 500.
The mechanism is available in three colours. Normally you would order it in the same colour as the bubble-visor. Alternatively, e.g. for a black helmet combined with a yellow visor a black mechanism could look better. Available colours/tints of the mechanism are:
- transparent
- yellow
- black
ADVICE:
The folding mechanism "Basic" is basically two rails with snaps. A rail is attached to the push buttons of the helmet. On the second rail the bubble visor is mounted. It's a good solution for peaople who want to open their bubble-visor. If you are wearing optical glasses underneath, we also do recommend the product. But it is no solution for high-speed driving! The visor itself stands a bit away from the helmet shell. You get noise and wind on the sides. Do not order this product if you try to be cool but expect comfort as you might have with any other creepy high tech full face helmet.
Please note: It does not work with HEDON helmets.

Erfüllt bedingt seinen Zweck
Das Visier lässt sich durch den Klappmechanismus erleichternd nach oben klappen.
Was ein sehr großer Makel war beim Bubble Shield.
Allerdings lässt es sich nicht ganz nach oben klappen und ist während des fahrens etwas klapprig dadurch kann es von selbst aufgehen.
konzeptionsbedingt mit Schwaechen
Wollte den Klappmechanismus einfach mal mit Bubble Visier ausprobieren. Sieht etwas merkwuerdig aus, was 24 Helmets aber auch auf seiner Website mitteilt (Abstand zum Helm ist konstruktionsbedingt). Qualitaet des Mechanismus ist sehr ordentlich. Bei Schulterblick ab ca. 90-100km/h droht das Visier nach oben zu klappen. Seitenwinde werden dann so stark, dass das gesamt Visier weggerissen werden kann. Ich wuerde diesen Klappmechanismus nicht auf Autobahnfahrten verwenden. Fuer Fahrten auf der Landstrasse mit meinem ollen Gespann reicht es aus. Wird vermutlich selten Verwendung finden, da ich lieber mit Brille fahre.

trägt zu weit auf, dadurch zu viel Zugluft. Rasterung fast nicht vorhanden, Visier schließt selbstständig.
Optik ist Okay !
Für fahrten zum Eissalon ist okay, mich hat das klappern des Bubble Visier, am Helm gestört !

Fürs Cruisen Top!
Klappmechanismus funktioniert einwandfrei! Aber Vorsicht bei höheren Geschwindigkeiten jenseits der 100 Km/h! Gerade beim sog. Schulterblick wird das Visier dann durch den Fahrtwind heftig aufgerissen und könnte evtl sogar weggerissen werden?! Für das Cruisen über die Landstraße aber bestens geeignet!

Habe das Teil am Biltwell Gringo mit Bubbleshield.
Passen tuts, nur leider wirkt alles etwas klapprig. Schulterblick bei 60+ km/h und das Visier öffnet sich von selbst :) Da ich Brillenträger bin ist es aber recht nützlich und um an einer Ampel mal kurz lüften zu können ist es in Ordnung.
So praktisch!
Hab das Teil für Bubble Visier auf Gringo mitgekauft. Funktioniert super, so hatte ich mir das vorgestellt!

Vielleicht hätte ich etwas mehr Geld ausgeben sollen, wirkt im allgemein sehr "klapperig" ansonsten ganz cool so kann Man/Frau an der Ampel doch etwas besser atmen
It works...but it is not beautiful on the helmet...:-(
Have this on my new Biltwell Gringo and I must say it does not look its best. Uses the 3 buttons on top but extends a bit further than my bubble visor and sticks out like a sore thumb....but it works and does the job...just wish it was a bit neater...
